Run Club - 10k Training

If you’ve ever dreamed of making it through the finish line, but don’t know how to get started, this program is for you. This class is designed for the beginner and to accomplish a 10k run (6.2 miles). You’ll learn about running form, injury prevention, increasing speed and distance, and choosing the right shoe. Classes will meet for 8 weeks beginning September 13th and will finish with a 10K Race. We will meet 1-2 times per week and you will run 2-3 days per week on your own. You will also receive weekly support and guidance through a private Facebook group. The culminating run will be the Trios Health Tri-Cities Marathon Relay on October 28th! Race fees are not included with the course. You will be responsible for registering for this event independently.
